Operating daily in our Day Center’s premises and our trainees are given the opportunity to participate in them as part of their practical training.
ORGANIC SOAP MAKING
In this workshop, trainees learn how to make and create both functional and decorative glycerin-based soaps. Using a wide variety of colors, hypoallergenic fragrances and oils, they create designs and compositions that impress.
With imagination and creativity as the main focus, as well as with the help of different techniques, the trainees also deal with soap sculpting. The workshop has the ability to manufacture, upon request, baptism and wedding or other favors, as well as thank-you compositions based on soap.
Candle making: handmade wax constructions and compositions in various designs, shapes and colours The trainees learn on a theoretical and practical level how to make handmade wax, get acquainted with various materials (paraffin, stearin, wick, colours, perfumes, various decorative materials) and are trained in all the stages and techniques of wax making.
Through this educational process, participants are given the opportunity to develop hand skills, cultivate imagination and thinking and acquire specialized professional knowledge and skills. The products of the workshop are exhibited to the general public, in exhibitions and bazaars that we hold in view of various events during the year.
Artistic Constructions Participants come into contact with different forms of visual arts (painting, collage, clay sculpture, doll making, jewellery) using various materials such as: beads, paper, cardboard, leather, wood, glass, plasticine, clay, etc.
Through these activities they practice their gross and fine motor skills, cultivate imagination and creativity in the context of their personal, social and professional development and integration. Flower-horticulture: training is carried out with field and greenhouse work (arboriculture, floriculture, horticulture)
