The accommodation unit for adults with intellectual disabilities is housed in a privately owned building in Limassol. It is a non-profit organization with the aim of hosting individuals with intellectual disabilities under excellent and safe living conditions. The facility operates 24 hours a day, all year round and accommodates 25 people. The coordination of the Institution is carried out by an experienced and well trained social worker with specialization and many years of experience in the care and socialization of people with disabilities. <\/p>

Together with the rest of the well-trained and friendly staff, they ensure creative employment through recreational and interactive activities, Mental and Physical Empowerment groups and provide residents a stable and high- quality everyday life.<\/p>

Our main concern is to maintain a homely and family environment, a place where guests feel safe and comfortable, just as they would in their own home, while at the same time enjoying services that ensure quality of life and high hospitality. The goal is to protect the health and quality of life of people with disabilities, always respecting their personality and rights. At the same time, the institutions well-trained staff is committed to human values in a responsible and scientific manner. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Spaces<\/h3>

Extremely pleasant environment appropriately designed for the needs of people with disabilities. By providing a more social environment we create a feeling of being at home. We also have created rooms ideal for relaxation and socializing, as well as functional, elegant and cheerful rooms that feature all modern amenities.

Our spaces are comfortable, bright, and airy and exude a feeling of love and warmth. Furthermore, our guests find warm and smiling people willing to respond to every need. We strive to ensure the comfortable and pleasant living of the people who chose us and trusted us, with respect for the individual's personality. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Cinema Room<\/h3>

Cinema is not only the film, the work itself, but also the mystique of its projection, its interaction with the audience. Cinema is the most social of the arts; it presupposes the human whole and is shaped, kneaded together with it. Some things are beautiful and valuable to experience together, because in them we feel more intensely than anywhere else the two dimensions of space; the physical and the emotional.

Multi-purpose room<\/h3>

A specially designed area with grass, creating a safe environment were in this space our quests meet, exchanging energy, knowledge and emotions, while at regular intervals they come into creative contact with visual arts, music and theater and enjoy beautiful moments.

Here, our guests get to know each other, create new relationships and socialize.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Outdoor Spaces<\/h3>

In a sunny country like ours, outdoor spaces are just as important as indoor spaces! We designed ours in the most appropriate way to \"take advantage\" of the sunshine and enjoy every hour of it.

In our smartly and tastefully designed outdoor areas, we enjoy our coffee, have barbeques and carry out many other interesting activities.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Health care<\/h3>

It is staffed by an interdisciplinary team of doctors, a pathologist and a psychiatrist, as well as external collaborators of various specialties in cases requiring additional treatment.

The care of the residents is overseen by specialized nursing staff that is in constant communication with the attending physician, following his\/hers instructions. The Nurse as a member of the healthcare team constitutes the most important structural factor for the organization, provision and evaluation of nursing services. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Bedrooms<\/h3>

The bedrooms are functional, comfortable, elegant, bright and \"cheerful\". They are built specially for the needs of our guests and they ensure the coverage of any need, accommodating only a few people. Some of the rooms are equipped with adjustable electric anatomical beds for better assistance of the most difficult cases. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Transportation<\/h3>

The transportation of residents of the Institution and the transportation to and from the Day Care Center are completed by buses, specially designed for the needs of the beneficiaries, with a driver and an escort..<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Kitchen<\/h3>

Our experienced and qualified chef according to the recommendations of the Nutritionist offer healthy and tasty foods and snacks. Every preparation is made in our catering kitchen and regulations including rules on hygiene, safety and food handling, as well as ensuring the quality of services are being taken into great responsibility. These rules are necessary to protect public health and avoid problems such as food poisoning or accidents. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
