They then monitor the individual&#8217;s progress and development in the workplace, contact the employer and record the needs and responsibilities of the position in order to provide the individual with the orientation and training to meet the requirements. At the same time, they maintain in constant contact and inform the family about each professional development and performance.<\/p><p>The &#8220;<strong>Supported Employment<\/strong>&#8221; program also provides career guidance services to people with intellectual disabilities with the aim of properly informing them about the range of career options as well as ways of their smooth integration into work and society.<\/p><p>With the support of the Department of Social Inclusion and through the &#8220;Supported Employment&#8221; program, today 23 people with intellectual disabilities are successfully employed in the open labor market, in supermarkets, hair salons, and dairies, hospitals, libraries and they receive, in addition to their salary, the satisfaction of productive employment and equal treatment in society.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bcb37f8 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"bcb37f8\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2a9c2e6 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"2a9c2e6\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a66e2c8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a66e2c8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Social Inclusion<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-964f6de elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"964f6de\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Employment plan, with the support of the Department of Social Inclusion of People with Disabilities.<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cb623b4 elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\" data-id=\"cb623b4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"divider.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-divider\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-divider-separator\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9ea4122 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9ea4122\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u201c<strong>Agios Stefanos<\/strong>\u201d Organization participates in the \u201cSupported Employment Scheme\u201d by operating two employment programs since 1998.
