For 24 years, from 1969 \u2013 1993, it was housed in a municipal building near the beach of Limassol area which was offered by the city&#8217;s Municipality.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2a77d0e e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"2a77d0e\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d1b99e2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"d1b99e2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"252\" src=\"https:\/\/agiosstefanos.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/anthoula-theofilou.jpg\" class=\"attachment-large size-large wp-image-1444\" alt=\"anthoula theofilou\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7c2354f e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"7c2354f\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ddac909 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"ddac909\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e62407b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e62407b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>(Laying of the foundation stone by the President of the Republic of Cyprus Spyros Kyprianou &#8211; 8 July 1987)<\/p><p>In 1993, it acquired its own premises, a functional and aesthetically impeccable building, over 2500 sq m., capable of hosting 120 people with mental retardation. Its construction was made possible by the significant donation of plot of land by <strong>Pavlina Pavlidou<\/strong> in memory of her parents, <strong>Pavlos<\/strong> and <strong>Kristalia Pavlidou<\/strong>, and her sister, Stella Pavlidou \u2013 Alifanti.<br>It also received significant assistance from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and State aid and Private Initiative as donors.<br>The operation of the Organization aims to house, treat, educate and care for the psychosomatic health of people with Intellectual Disability, so they can live a normal life as active members of the community.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5bbbb3c e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"5bbbb3c\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-51ae361 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"51ae361\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img magnanimity, generosity, transcendence of the &#8220;ego&#8221;, altruism and self-sacrifice.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>These high values and ideals give meaning to the existence of the benefactors, are closely intertwined with their identity and constitute an integral part of our national heritage.<br>We recognize the above elements in the personality of our great benefactors, who did not fail to allocate large sums of money for the creation of the organization, donating large amounts of real estate, demonstrating in practice their dedication to humanity.<br>Many of these works still dominate the space proudly and uprightly until today, transmitting the spiritual wealth of the benefactors, their noble feelings for the human soul and their undivided love and generosity towards culture and society.<\/p><p>Words of \u2018Thanks\u2019
